Many forums rely on intro threads that quickly go stale. What alternative onboarding methods actually lead to engagement, such as first-post prompts or guided replies? How can new members feel welcomed without pressure?
Here we've got an introduction forum, how did you find us and what country you're from.
🌐 Gizmo Network – Where chaos meets creativity ☕💥
Popcorn Buzz – Your hub for trending topics, hot discussions, and community vibes.
Bingely – Track, discuss, and binge the shows everyone’s talking about.
Directory Flare – Discover, share, and review the best sites around.
AHS Fan Blog – Episode reviews, fan theories, and all things American Horror Story.
Doomsday Chronicles – Breaking news, updates, and insider info on Avengers: Doomsday.
I can't say for certain what "works better." I do think people should have options though. For example, there could be one thread for newbies to introduce themselves in plus a whole forum dedicated to new members.
I'm writing a book series. Young Adult/New Adult Fantasy Series. Check it out: Ravyn Vale
I think that sending a personal message is one of the best ways to welcome a member and it works better than "introduce yourself" section. However, the message you send should be written by you and it should not be automated message.
